Dr. Martinez attended the University of South Florida for her undergraduate degree. She graduated with a dual bachelor’s degree in behavioral health science, as well as psychology. Following her undergraduate degree, she immediately began her journey to obtain her doctoral degree at the Florida School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University. During her training, Dr. Martinez volunteered for a crisis hotline as a virtual crisis counselor, delivering care to those in acute need.
Dr. Martinez received training on all evidenced based therapeutic modalities and implements them in an integrative manner, allowing her to tailor the therapeutic experience to meet her client’s personal needs. Dr. Martinez specializes in psychological assessment and is proficient in administration from ages two years old through end of life. She has had the opportunity to administer a wide variety of assessments, including psychoeducational assessments, Autism Spectrum evaluations, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity assessments, General Psychological Assessments, Forensic Assessment for court orders, Neuropsychological Assessments, and more. Dr. Martinez prides herself on providing a comprehensive and personalized psychological assessment experience, which gives individuals and families answers, recommendations, and most importantly, empowerment.
In her leisure time, Dr. Martinez enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, family, and friends.
who does she work with?
Dr. Martinez is proficient in administering psychological assessments to children ages 2 and up, adults, and older adults. Her client focus for therapy includes children 13 and up, adults, couples, individuals suffering from trauma, and Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. Dr. Martinez is able to see any client throughout the United States as a member of the PSYPACT.
