Nicollette earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Leo University and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with Advanced Studies in School
Counseling from Long Island University. In addition to supporting clients in the mental health space, Nicollette has years of experience working in the school-based setting in
both public and private schools with students K-12, as well as in the post-secondary setting with undergraduate students. Nicollette brings a strong understanding of the academic, emotional and social challenges young people face across varying stages of development.
Nicollette specializes in supporting children, teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, executive functioning challenges and OCD. Additionally,
Nicollette is passionate about supporting individuals and their families through school related concerns, such as academic difficulties, testing anxiety, school avoidance and
social challenges.
When working with children, Nicollette partners closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen communication, foster supportive environments at home and at school and problem-solve collaboratively to equip them with strategies to support their child's well-being.
Nicollette takes an individualized approach to each client's care and believes that connection and authenticity are at the core of meaningful growth. She uses a blend of
evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She also integrates play-based and creative interventions into sessions, providing clients with supportive, non-verbal outlets for self-expression and emotional processing.
Nicollette is dual licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in both Florida as well as New York and able to see clients in both states.
In her free time, Nicollette loves spending time with her fiancé, family, friends and her Yorkie-poo and German Shepherd. She enjoys going to the gym, hot yoga, visiting the beach, spending time on the boat and walking around farmers markets.
Nicollette sees children ages 4 and up as well as adults.
